And now about our wonderful teacher:
Melissa Chapman is a graduate of UC Berkeley where she studied movement, theatre, acting, and dance. During her younger years, she explored aerial silks performance, wall-dancing, and Latin ballroom. She is a self-proclaimed “all-terrain dancer,” with underwater dance being her most recent discovery. Her movement-improvisation class will be a guided journey through the body, where you will focus on specific body parts such as joints, muscles, and skin, in combination with visualizations and imagery, to inspire different ways of connecting to the body and our environment.
